As a community of faith our mission is to reach people for Jesus Christ. To meet people's
spiritual and physical needs. To proclaim the gospel and to equip believers for life-changing
ministry.
History
In 1965 First Presbyterian Church of Sedro-Woolley and United Presbyterian Church of
Burlington merged together to worship and serve Christ as one community, becoming Trinity
United Presbyterian Church. As a new congregation our first service was held on December 5,
1965 at Mary Purcell Elementary in Sedro-Woolley. Ground breaking at our current site, on
Collins Road, began on April 16, 1967. Church services began at the new site on February 25,
1968 with dedication of the new building.

Our vision is to be T.O.S.S.E.D., (Teams of Servants Sent Everywhere Delivering).

- God the Father is a loving Creator and Provider.
- God wants a close relationship with us through prayer, worship, and experience of God's
presence, and Scripture, the revealed Word of God. - God is love and calls us to love others as Jesus loved us, including our enemies.
- Grace is God's loving gift of forgiveness.
- God speaks with us through prayer.
- Jesus, God's only Son, died on a cross for our sins, was resurrected from the dead,
appeared to the disciples, and ascended into heaven. - Through faith in Jesus Christ we have eternal life.
- The Holy Spirit is God in us and is our Comforter.
- God/Jesus binds us into a community, the church, the Body of Christ.
- Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Jesus calls us to follow him, to make disciples, and to serve
the world.
